Minter Gardens

This was our last official photography class. We may do a few more outings off the record but we haven't planned anything yet! This class again was a mix of landscape and portraiture. The couple in the photo's just got engaged and agreed to be our models in exchange for a bunch of photo's of them together! Very cool! Enjoy!

Chilliwack Museum - Portraiture

This week our focus was learning to do formal and informal portraiture. We used our fellow students as models which worked much better for me. I enjoyed this class and ended up with a few photo's I was quite happy with. I'm definitely learning as I go here!

Rainy Day - Class Postponed

Sorry there wont be any new pics for a few weeks as last Sunday they class was postponed due to rain and this weekend is the long weekend SO... I guess I'll maybe post pics of our long weekend adventure instead. Check back to see what we did. :)

Photography Class #2 - Tamahi Creek

This class was set way WAY out there in the bush at a beautiful creek location. The object of this class was getting the silky water and also doing some portrait photography. It's funny when you get a bunch of photographers together because none of them want their picture taken. It's a good thing we had a couple from the class who had agreed ahead of time to be models for us or there wouldn't have been much for us to take pictures of (people wise). The teacher did bring another model in for us to work with but... I'm not really into shooting models in 'sexy' poses so I kinda skipped that part. hee hee. Anyways enjoy the water...

Photography Class #1 - The Enchanted Forest

This was my first assignment for my photography class to come up with a portfolio that captures the mood of an 'enchanted forest'. I don't know how enchanting these are but I definitely learned a lot in just one class!

Our Family

While we were home both sides of the family wanted to take family pictures. We haven't had good luck getting professional or otherwise so we decided to take them ourselves! This is what we came up with, or at least these are two of them.





We took them in the same general area as it's just a really good spot to take pictures. :)
